vg-10 blade and i think its probably all in all made better then the older ones

My Spyderflys have VG-10 blades and I didn't think they could be made any better. It might be the added G-10 or just the "cool" factor. Not really sure, but in my eyes Spyderflys were perfect when they came out originally.

the coolness and the materials of the knife is just superb, I really want one... but the price is just too much for me...

I'm not so sure the new SmallFly has VG-10 blade steel. The description at an online retailer that has it in stock says "Blade Material: 154CM Stainless"

154cm is what I saw too. I am seriously looking into buying one of these.

Spyderco seems to have went all out for this one.

Smallfly is a must have! Just ordered it today. The blade steel isn't VG-10 but I have no problem with 154CM. Thought VG-10 would be sweeter but then there would be no Earth labeling on blade :D . Great :spyder: with reversed S curvature on the blade, G-10, steel liners, and 2 :spyder: holes:p :p ...
