Uploading pics.

Hi! This is my first post. Do you have a thread on how to upload pics? I tried to upload a pic from Photobucket and it keeps coming up as invalid file in here??? Help pleeezzzz???

a quick tutorial i wrote a few days ago:

-go to http://imageshack.us/ (among others)
-click "browse" button to search your hardrive for the picture you want to post
-choose resize image? 640*480 will do
-click "host it"
-once the picture is uploaded on imagesahck a new page with many links will appear, choose the last down the page (direct link) and copy it (CTRL+C)
-come back to this thread and once you're in the reply plage, click on the little moutain icon (http://www.spyderco.com/forums/images/editor/insertimage.gif), paste (CTRL+V) your link in the text box that appeared, OK, post your reply, done...

if you're not sure it's gonna work, you can practice by just hitting "preview post" instead of "post reply"

I always just use Photobucket; and I feel it couldn't be simpler:

-Upload photo
-Click on the IMG Code thing (Make sure that the little yellow "Copied" box shows up)
-Go to post and hit Ctrl+V, or "Paste"
-Submit reply!

When I do it this way, it sizes the images correctly and everything. I don't know, maybe you've tried that and it hasn't worked. If so, I hope you find something that does. :o

Thanks Blackhair. Yes I did use photobucket. I just wasn't sizing the pics right. Thank you all.
