I rarely post photographs, due in part to the fact that, as a photographer, I make a great martial artist ;) . In any case, after I got this one back from STR, I knew I had to post up a couple of photographs for the Lava fans out there. Please believe me when I tell you that STR's work on this one is exquisite and that the photos do not do the knife justice.
Anyway, to start off:
The customized Lava, with black and tan G-10 scales and an STR lowrider clip in titanium, anodized in a khaki/bronze, with one of my standard Lavas for comparison.

A photograph of the customized Lava by itself and then one with one of my Surefire flashlights.

Hi KaliGMan, i hope you don't mind me sharing some pix of my Lava in your thread :)
This micarta Lava (and the Navigator2) is the first time I gotten/used one of STR's lowrider Ti clips....I must say they're pretty sweet.....I'm even clipping my "Featherlight Lava" in my slacks frontpocket at work....real incognito-like ;) :D
some pix with the CF zdp189 Caly3, Hyper, zdp189 CalypsoJr, SubcomF :)

Post away my friend. Although I must say your skill with the camera makes my photographs look even "more badder" as an old knuckle dragging SWAT buddy used to say ;) .

thanks for the kind works KaliGman.... I aspire to take photos like Simona or Peter1960 some day....first thing I've got to do is upgrade to a real camera and get a tripod....i'm still using my "old" Canon Optura 20 camcorder  :o
Might as well post some more photos while I'm at it ;)

KaliGman and Jaislandboy they look great.
This would be something for me. I don't like SS handles. Maybe Jurgen Schanz or Andy Haas could do something like that overhere in Europe. Hmmm i have to think about that.:p

What's this about an Edit? Necker?....I don't have any info on this one....I feel like I'm in the dark....Chad quick send me an e-mail....LOL, I hate when you withhold info from me...LOL....Not suprised that people like and buy the Lava...what is there not to like!!!!....I'll tell you what... I can't keep enough stock on those Subcoms...they fly out of my case faster than I can say Chad Los Banos, with customers screaming at me to get in the latest Chad Los Banos design on a weekly basis....the fact is I'm selling more Subcoms than any other knife in the case...I had a customer who came in last week told me someone had stole his Tan Subcom when I placed it on a table and walked away at work...so he bought two more he loved the knife so much.....Doc
