View Full Version : Combining Knives& other gear for survival on the streets..
Okay,
just for the fun of it, I dug out my gun, and went shooting, even if it was dark allready. Dark at the shooting range too. My magcharger did a good job. Sometimes its fun just to test out something differend, you know..After returning from the track, just snapped some shots..
I'm trying to be humorous with the subject, thats all..
I really Do NOT carry this stuff on me.. (on-duty ASP & Sabre etc).. these were taken just for fun. :) sometimes that Maglite gets some pocket time along with some other gear, thats all.
ATT! MODS, if You think this is tacky or otherwise "not allright", please forgive me, I'll remove these at once!!

Here we have the UK equivalent...
Genuine legal UK carry :D However, get stopped with it and declare it's for "self defense", and they'll arrest you for intent

There has so be a good reason that the Matriarch is the only common denominator :D

Nightdog:Pretty CZ gun... love this one. But here in the Czech republic is not admited to have a gun under 18 and without licence... and in some cases after psychological tests...
LOOKABIRD, Yeah, the Matriarch is the true star in these.. I just love it. :)
p.jester,
I like CZ so much that I have two of them, another one is hard-cromed (kinda like SS surface) CZ 75. This CZ85 is a great workhorse, eats any ammo, no jams etc.. a little rugged, but truly a good gun. Its the action that counts, not the looks :) And it's waaaay much cheaper than some other brands.
I got this one back in '95, and back then it wan'st easy to get a license, nowadays it's even harder in here too. Luckily I have several guns allready, so I don't need to apply any more (for the time being)
I also have a cal.44 Remington revolver(BP) and that's the direction my shooting hobby is headed now.. nothin like a good ol' western style shooting: ka-boom!! and then lots and lots of gunsmoke

Yeah... CZ is bloody good. But MP5 is my sweetheart... I know that is another class but... :p
CZs are fantastic. I have a PCR that has yet to get a stoppage.

thanks for the great pix....
I love the CZ's brilliant design...:)
But I especially liked your "DIY tribute to Jones bros." trial version ... ;)
Thx all,
Spydutch, it's actually a gray one, one of the 500 ever made
I have continuing problems with my lightning.. wish it was summer, natural sunlight is the best.
Jaislandboy, thanks, mine is a cruel ripoff though, I believe the original was called the Jones Bros Impact Tool. Saw it long time ago somewhere on the net, so when I just happened to have some plastic PVC block, so out came the Dremel, and.. :)
Its a devastating piece of plastic now, 3-way strikes are possible, and the effect it makes is scary. I can only imagine how good the real one is, this one is a little tough on ones hand when striking stuff.
And here's the forementioned CZ 75 with D-fly.. old pics:

And here's the Remington .44, with Mikov auto and Buck (sorry, no :spyder: ) in this one:

Thanks Brian! It's a Para-Ordnance P-10 and yes, it's .45 ACP (10 +1). The grips are Hogue Goncalo Alves. It's a little beast of a weapon, but surprisingly accurate considering the 3" barrel and two finger grip (the pinky wraps under the magazine). It conceals really well but does have a bit of a fat butt. The stainless makes it pretty much impervious to sweaty, South Florida summer carry too.

Tom v S. - I'm not the guy you asked but I have the same watch, but in SS. It's a Citizen Nighthawk, a watch I would highly recommend. If you're going to get one, you can find the SS models for around $200.

i apologize for the quality of pics (need better camera & operator...). shawn's correct. they're pretty decent watches - not too expensive and can take a lickin' and still look nice.

thanks for the info Billy, I've got checkered GoncaloAlves handles (stock) on my "learning pistol" which was a S&W Model 41 .22 semiauto pistol... but I like the grain/burls on your Hogue's better.... the .45 acp pistols are too big for my small hands...so i ended up choosing b/w a Glock vs. Sig Sauer when I was in the market for a pistol....I ended up w/a Glock17 purchased a the Tamiami Fairgrounds back in the 1980's  ;)
