Just so you know, I love them both. The Caly 3 is more like a gents knife and the Para is more like a hardcore user that will take a nice hard beating. Not that the Caly 3 will not take a beating it's just not really a camping/hard use knife. ;)

Thanks for the excellent pictures David.

I thought te para millie' s handle would be bigger. Well that's a plus for me to take it to work. HECK i'll take them both to work. :)

Am I crazy, or are there Torx screws on the Caly III pivot and clip, but rivets on the handle scales?!

I'd love that knife, except for the idea that it's pinned and can't be disassembled. What's the deal? Why is it made like that? Any plans for a disassemlable Caly?

You are correct. That is just how it's made.

I like it personally because I can adjust the pivot but I don't have to mess with anything else. It's a perfect combination I think.

The CalyIII is pinned because there's no room for screws. Screws take up more space, and the design principle of the CalyIII was to keep it svelte.

I learned this while asking STR for CalyIII modifications, and he verified...you can't reassemble it with screws. No room.

There is no G. in that logo on the back.

It is in fact Sal.

Also, his last name is Glesser NOT Glessner.
