Well it is no where near mint now.:D I tried to get some pics, but the scratches just won't show up well with the lighting I have at the moment.

Here is my EDC again 10 +/- months later. Yeah the pics are bad, but it does show the details pretty well, especially the edge in the second one. ;)

Nope, just freehand with a variety of grits of 3M wet/dry sandpaper, 200-1200 and a homemade strop block and a bit of time. Block is a piece of leather belt nailed to some scrap wood, loaded with MAAS metal polish. Thanks for the compliment though. :)

EDIT: Looked again, it is more like 150-2000 grit with about 6 steps between.

And looking at the width of it, it must be at a pretty steep angle too.

Yes it is, The edge ended up offset, like almost any production knife. I took it down to less than 20° inclusive by "stropping" it on the varied grits of sandpaper, backed by the underside of the board the loaded strop is attached to. After polishing it on the strop, I tried it sharpened at 30° on the 204, but for my uses, finishing it at 40° with the brown stones works best.

So really I have a very thin convex, almost flat primary(?) edge with the sharpened cutting edge actually being 40°; OR basically I knocked the shoulders down to nothing. It slices real well, almost as well as my Millie.
