Had anyone had experience with the new Wenger Evo line of SAKs? They look good with their more modern ergonomic handles, but I'm wondering if their quality is up to the Vics. (And didn't Vic buy out Wenger not too long ago?). Thanks for any info you can provide.

Wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving.

Victorinox did buy Wenger sometime ago to keep the company Swiss owned. I don't have any SAK's of the Wenger Evo line, but I did check 'em out & they seem to be an improvement. Their quality is quite high BUT...

I like Vic's ;)

The new Wengers are pretty nice. Better grip, some have a main locking blade and same ol Wenger scissors and can opener which were better than Vics in the first place.

Ah... so that's why Wegner awhile ago seemed to change suddenly (imo for the better). I've been eyeing some of the new Wegner stuff, looks sexy.
