Just wondering where people get there news from after livly debates about the port deal and such... :D

80% of the news I get is from books. 10% is from the net and the other 10% is from Howard Stern/Robin quivers and Bill Mahr. I just don't buy into the crap the media is telling us. ie: What you're eating tonight could be killing you! We'll tell you what it is at 11:00! Or: We (the USA) could be attacked by terrorists at any time! We'll tell you the most vulnerable places at 11:00. Well no s*** we could be attacked at any time. Don't tell us now, wait until 11:00! It's all about the ratings, which means, it all about the $$$. I remember "killer bee's could spread to North America in under a year," that was like 10 years ago! How about y2k! Remember how scared the media made us feel! I just don't trust what the media tells us! It's really too bad. :(

My startup page is drudgereport.com and I try to listen to some talk radio throughout the day. Between those two sources I stay fairly "with it". I don't watch screaming heads on TV anymore however. Bad for the ol' blood pressure. ;)

Whenever I log out of my email, I get redirected to MSN, and that's the extent of my news.

A local radio station is always on in my house. KFI 640 AM They have news every half an hour or so. They get there news from fox.

I acutally get my news from all the selections. I like to see whats being said about issues from both sides.. its quite entertaining.

Unfortunately, YES! Ask anybody here, that's from the USA! I doubt that in I only hear this in my small hillbilly town of under 10,000.
