View Full Version : Thank You All!!!!!!
Well, it has been just over 3 weeks since I finished treatments. I am feeling better and better each day. Going for walks to build my strength and generally doing more around the house(Mrs. CKE likes that:)) I am starting to drink liquids but will not be eating for a couple more months. Everything in time.
Anyways, the point I would like to share is this: I would like to thank all the people who helped in contributing to the CKE Fund. I would like to thank Spyderco for their generous donation of a Lil Temp. Last but not least all the prayers that were sent my way. I am not a religious man but found myself praying a few times. It always cheered me up when I would visit here. Thank you for all the support. It is truly appreciated and will never be forgotten.
Sincerely,
Craig

Aloha CKE!!!
Hey brother Craig! Well...you didn't think that we were just gonna sit around and do nothing did ya? :p Good to hear that you ARE getting better and that ya prayed a few times. That's cool, as "battles" lost were often not equiped with the powerful "weapon" of prayer...good on you for using it!!!
I believe, and have for the longest time already, that you HAVE beaten this...keep doing what you're doing, and as always, one step at a time. None of us will know what you have gone through unless we have actually experienced it. Period. But we DO know that a positive mind set combined with the power of prayer can move mountains...(I do anyway.)
I thank YOU Craig, for being an inspiration and example of how to be during a time of extreme challenge and trial. OBTW, speaking of "challenge and trial"...when is the lil' one arriving? :D And I AIN'T talking about a Lil' Temp!
God bless you brother

Hi Craig. I'm so glad to hear that you are better and better. Of course that I can only vaguely imagine what you've been through - and God will, I'll never know too much, but I like to think that you somehow felt our thoughts coming to accompany you during those days. Seing someone who actually beat this awful disease is an encouragement for us all. Good luck and get well soon.
Thanks guys:)
Oh and the little one is due around the first week of May!!!!!! So Pumped :D

Hi Craig,
I am so glad to hear that you have finished treatments and are starting to feel better! By the time your baby arrives you should be feeling pretty well. Congratulations, but enough of the life altering events already! I hope you have a boring but joyful year to follow! :)

Craig, one of the best things about prayer is that it's free, and it works. I've heard several times about studies in which people who were prayed for actually heal faster.
I've prayed for you pretty much daily, along with several other friends/acquaintances whom I know that have cancer.
I thank God for your positive attitude, it will get you through and see you well again. Now get ready for that little one!

Great news, Craig! Are you in 100% remission?
Thanks again everyone for the well wishes:)
Thom...they were very confident that the surgery got it all. The radiation and chemo were for extra measures. My doctor has full faith in the fact they got it all:):):):):) Everything is just a little bit better than before. Take Care ALL!!
