Supposed to get 6" to 9" here or more. We already have 6". Too much to shovel. Too heavy as it also rained on top of the snow then snowed again. Have to get it cleared tomarrow. Hmmm...snow used to be fun.

UGH...it has been snowing on and off here the last two weeks. Yesteday dropped about 4-5 inches. Seeing as I am on rest, I can't even shovel the stuff. I tried this morning but that just got me tired after 5 mins work and a headache from Mrs. CKE yelling at me for being outside in the cold. Sheesh, a guy just can't win. Take Care and watch your backs on the heavy stuff

Yeah, the snow is done, but now the wind is here  and I still have to clear the driveway. Fortunately I have a two-stage blower, but the wind can still make it a real pain...

UPDATE:

All done. I loooove my snowblower :D

Hell yes the wind is here! Damn cold. A Eskimo couldn't take this cold. Shoot man I want the hot sticky days of August back.

Got about a foot here. Very cold, single digits for the past week most of the time.

I have the flu and feel absolutely horrible, but went out to help the wife shovel. Every few shovels, I had to lean against the truck to steady myself every couple of shovels full.

My neighbor (God bless his soul!!) saw we were having a tough time, and brought his snow blower over and cleared the mouth of the driveway, which was about three feet deep, thanks to the snow plow that went past.

I hate plows and salt trucks.Snow is much easier to drive on than the slushy mess that they make.We got a dusting the other night and I am not kidding when I say that there is salt over an inch deep at all the intersections.Last time they done that (couple weeks ago)state sweeper trucks had to come up and get it up.Looks like someone in charge would get on the road crews about spreading to much of it.

We ended up with 18in/45cm. about 30 miles southeast of us was in the 30-36in range. I guess we just missed it. My snow plows (Joshua and Dan) weren't crazy about it, they did get it all plowed (shoveled up) yesterday though. Joshua want to live in Calif. now :D
Jeff, as for driving I'll take wet mush over snow packed into ice surfaces. I had to wait at a green light yesterday as a van slid through his red light.
