How much do you guys think a world war 1 bayonet made in 1907 is worth? it was government issued in hawaii. i found it underneath my house in a weird sheath that has preserved it pretty darn well seeing how im 100m from the ocean. And my house has been hit by a wave and moved back a couple of feet. i cant believe it would still be there! found out it was my gramps bayonet. messed up huh? it has a wood handle though im not sure what kind(only wood i can recognize is koa). the blade says "U.S. 203609" flip it on the other side it says "S A 1907" it also has a wierd pic of a circular object with a bush on top of it. the cirlcular object has the letter c backwards in it.
Very Very strange!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You really need to do some independent research, since no one is able to tell you anything definitive without even a picture. But I doubt you hit the lottery; it's possibly a 1907 pattern Lee Enfield bayonet. Several US armories prduced Enfields for the British Govt. during World War I. It more than likely wasn't made in 1907 as the pattern number was produced for many years.
If that's in fact what it is, they're fairly common and only occasionally sell for more than $60, depending on where it originated and condition. If it's been laying under a house rusting for years it might well be worth nothing.

check out this web site. it seems to be made at the springfield armory for the
1903 springfield bolt action rifle and also fits the m1 garrand and the 13,14 models british rifles. this site has a value of $250.00.

Bassist,
Wow...trippy! Same Island as me! Cool...PM me or something, as one of my buddies I work w/ is totally into that kinda stuff!
God bless!
Hey Severedthumbs,
You need to lighten up. Some stuff you type has a little bite to it!
Bassist is just asking a question about a knife and on the off-topic section.
Seems to be the best place for it - don't you think?
