In spite of viruses, spyware, spam, smut and all its other perils, it still manages to pleasantly surprise me on almost a daily basis. Case in point...
Just bought a new car, a PT Crusier. Oddly (at least to me) while it has D rings on both sides of the interior at the tailgate both at floor level and about two feet up, Chrysler does not make a "cargo net" for it. Since there is not much of a lip with the 'gate up, I think a net might be a good idea in case a bag of groceries tips over. So what does that have to do with the internet?
Well, I got to thinking I'd make the net a "do it yourself" project. Back in the "good old days" of my youth finding instructions on how to tie a net would have entailed a trip to the library, hours of searching, and a fair amount of luck. This morning, it took me all of thirty seconds to type a few key words into Google, hit enter, scan the first page of results and locate this how to (http://www.hammocksamerica.com/information/knotyournet.html) page. :D Now to get some heavy cord and get to work.
