It certainly isn't me. My first post was April 2001 (even thought the Forum rebuild now shows my join date as Sept 2004 - along with most other members).

Samo, Java and I were all around the same time, think they both beat me though.

Lurking aug 99(right after I bought my delica, went searching for more info on the strange company with a hole to open), registered nov 99. been working on a downward spiral since.

Great post! I remember I joined somewhere in May or June 2001 (I came with my Ladybug to wave it in front of you guys with Militarys and Chinooks) ;). Interesting thing, what's the plural to Spyderco Military? Militarys or Militaries? :confused:
I remember the "veterans" were there: AET, Samo, VW, Jeff (Smith), Java and Clay - thanks for the welcome. :D There were more - and the first I can think of is Linda the Glasshearted - that are no longer active :(

Yes I was one of the early ones. Discovered the forum by accident when I was looking at SFO. Carlos was around then and Chinook maybe Paul also. Can't remember anyone else though, must be an age thing :).

I've been here since the beginning of the forum, but I don't post nearly as much as some of the other seniors like Clay and Sam. Same goes for bladeforums, I joined that forum when it started up after yet another fall-out with the Mad Dog fans.

scores of :spyder: and many moons ago, our founding Poppa :spyder: and the :spyder:-crew founded this forums and the rest was history.. And lest we forget.. Its been a wonderful mix of people of various walks of life and nationality.. I love this place! :D I still wonder if these dudes are well : John Row, Big Target and many more..

Ted - when was my first post? I have no clue. I can remember however that we all had a hard time with that "Hanibal" sucker... I also remenber Alex joining and Samo changing names because of 100.000 thousand posts :D

I remember that ' Hannibal sucker' too, I always felt a little ashame because he was from the Netherlands.

Welcome to the Spydie Forum ya Rookie.....speaking of which, do ya have any Rookies laying about????? Lots of good folks to learn about Spyder-lore from here and quite a few that can instruct ya how to sail a sjaegte without having to appease the lesser gods of the fjords with a sacrificial blade (or three)!!! :D

All in good fun...we love ya here ya pesky Viking! BTW I believe Kraziekurtis still lurks a bit. Kind of miss the lil' guy.

Jave, if you search ascending you will get the first 500 (if you search on post on your user name). If you search descending you get the last 500.
Haven't figured out yet how to get the ones in between if you have more then 1000 posts... :D :p

Here's a trick I had to find on this forum... was "easier" on the old one...

used to be you could right click on a name, open thier info in a new window and get thier user number...

now you just hover over thier name and it displays at the bottom...

#584 here...
