I thought I was getting an ATR SS today...

The UPS man arrives, I get my package, open it, and find a SS
Police PE! :( I mean, this never happened with One Stop
Knife Shop before. Now, true to the 21st century way of doing
thing's it's gonna be another 5 day wait! :mad: :mad: :mad:

That's the very last order they get from me! They claim they check
the package before it leaves, but I somehow don't believe it. And
the nice cheery voice on the end of the line tell's me only three
days!

I never actually got that far with 1SKS as they have never reply to my e-mails and quote insane rates to ship to Europe.

They can survive without my business and I can shop elsewhere. No problem :p

I have never dealt with them so I can't comment. The shipping might not have been their fault. I have had things take longer than expected. Ah well, in a few days you'll have the SS ATR and it will all be worth the wait:) Take Care!!!

Sorry to hear about your problems, Allen. But you know... good things happen to those who can wait... or at least that's how they taught us ;)
Indeed, the ATR and Police are different - for us. For an outsider, there are just metal folders. :rolleyes: OTOH, they (1SKS) are into knives too, right? :confused:

I'm sure if anyone else was in my shoes they'd feel the same way -
you pay $110.99 for a knife plus $8.00 for the shipping,
and at One Stop they supposedly inspect the package three ( 3 )
times before it's shipped ( yeah right! ) and this is what you get!

Imagine if it was an Extrema ratio and they shipped a Police model!

Well, that clinches it - Bladeforums.com & now this - I thought
Kevin ran a tight ship ( by the admission of his co-workers ) Better to
go elsewhere. Sure he has some great prices, but if it's snafu - then
why bother?

I think it's quite a bit over the top to be so pissed of. mistakes happen all the time, and like you said, it never happened before.

Never shopped at 1SKS but mistaking an ATR for a POLICE when you have the name on the box... that doesn't look good... :confused:
