I hesitated before posting this but I am clutching at straws. My youngest daughter, Leslie is due to deliver a baby girl in January and they have told her that the child may be abnormal. She has done all the right things but who knows why things happen? I believe in the power of prayer because mine have been answered so many times. I am asking you to say a prayer for her. Thanks,

I hope the news is based on an abormal triple screen or quad screen. Those have so many false positives and enough false negatives that 2% of bad quad screens are actual problems and 2% of good quad screens are actual problems.

I am glad to hear that you BELIEVE in the power of prayer...It's the MAIN ingredient to them being answered!

Please know that prayers are and have been sent on my end. "Abnormal" is also a relative term. If the child has physical defects, but is happy and healthy, God has a reason for this...even if it were the opposite, this child was CHOSEN to change lives!!!

Keep doing what you have been...go day by day, and pray! Psalm 3:5.

you and yours will be in my prayers. God works in mysterious ways and for everything, I believe, there is a reason.

When I asked for prayers from my fellow :spyder:Knuts, in my heart I believe that God listened. My daughter that was not well(heart condition) is now free to be a typical 8 year old that can run and jump and do what kids do.
