Illini over Northwestern 96-66 blowout . I was expecting a much closer game but defense was stifling and Bowie was only threat . Purdue is up next and will be the test we need to see where we are at . Dan

That's a great win Dan 😎
Gotta say, nothing to complain about on my end.
Carolina actually beat Pitt last night. Something we failed to do last season.

Purdue over Illini 83-78 . Score looks close but is deceptive, we had our chances . First half Purdue jumped to large lead , we came back but never could take advantage of Edey foul trouble . The rest of Purdue team really played a good game . No excuses , Purdue is clearly impressive. Dan

It was a nailbiter! We showed toughness and hung on despite being down most of the game. Good road win.

Crazy 24 hours of upsets. #1,2,3,5,9,11,18 and 21 all lose, gotta love conference play! Now winning schools wanna "move on up" like George and Weezy :smiling-cheeks

It’s that time of year where teams can’t think their standings for granted . Purdue has lost two game in conference play to non ranked teams . Edey was out scored by a mid major transfer. Mast from SIU who was player of the year in the MVC . We play Michigan State on Friday on their turf it will be a tough game really respect Coach Izzo . Dan

MSU is a hard team to judge, Izzo ALWAYS has a great strength of schedule, never afraid of playing multiple tough teams. Always admired him for that. Many here in Ky would take him as a UK coach if Cal weren't here, me included.

I agree ! His rosters show what he does as a coach , he can make players into a hard nose team . Players love him . Dan

Fighting a Illini over Michigan State 71-68 . This game was a thriller Illini just had too much size and speed . Izzo had lit the fire under his guys after losing to Northwestern . Media reporter said it was only the second time Izzo declined to interview after a game , he was hot ! So they brought their A game last night . Dan

They had a hearing today , Shannon filed a restraining rider to be able to play . Judge wants time to review past similar issues before making a decision. I really have mixed feelings about this whole thing . Just heard today one of the people that went with him to Kansas is an assistant coach for Illinois . I have to think of all parties involved and their rights too . I don’t think U of I made the decision lightly and also glad Underwood is not involved with the process .

Wow....you could tell that was no Jimmy Boeheim Syracuse team today!
My Heels ran wild on the Orangemen(they'll always be the Orangemen to me just as St. Johns will always be the Redmen!) 103-67
Could've been a lot worse...Carolina had 90 points with 8 minutes left!

Cats shot themselves in the foot in Texas today but that's not taking away from an A&M team that put in on them into overtime.

Lost to Maryland at HOME 76-67 . Poor defense and shooting percentage dropped into a
big hole . Horrible game , Maryland deserved the win . Dan
