Hi Everyone, Could you please help me figure out if this Salt is real or not from these pictures of the FRN? For some reason the FRN just doesn't look right to me. Let me know what you think. Real or fake?

That's definitely real.

The circular indentations are bigger on the fake FRN:

And the hardware is different:

OK, thanks. The thing on this one that's had me the most suspicious is the sharpness of the edge of all of the FRN. It almost looks like there is a little line of FRN material going around the inner edges. Like a sharp plastic edge to all of the contours.

Well then it is definitely real in that case. I always take sandpaper to the edges on the underside where your fingers can dig in on the Seki LWs.

Since it’s a Salt, you’re probably safe. It looks real from the pictures.

Admittedly, I pay next to no attention to fake knives but I have to imagine they’re only faking the Delica 4 and not the Salt 2. Hate to point out what makes it easy to tell the difference but the fact that your handle reads “Salt 2” and not “Delica 4” is probably the easiest way to tell. I doubt the fakers would go through the effort to make separate molds that match the Salt 2 scales. Especially since the Salt 2 is supposed to be linerless compared to the Delica 4 with liners.

Thanks guys. My whole collection is almost all G-10 Spydercos. My only FRN knives are 2 Dragonflies and the FRN on those are excellent. No ruff edges at all on the FRN. Intact, the FRN on them has a great grippy feel.
