Welcome to the forum and yeah, "Brothers" is based in China and makes a clone of the Manix XL (and Manix 2 IIRC), they've been at it for a while.

Good thing is that it smells so much bad quality that I'm pretty sure it doesn't hurt Spyderco much. Still, it's a pity to see people steal designs when they could create (and I think they also do "original" designs)...
