Some of the world's best fish tacos, because every time I look at this thread, it's still about Toyotas.

I was thinking this too. I was hoping Dan was making a thread for delicious tacos. Maybe a food thread would be a good idea Dan?

If we spent as much time trying as we do doubting, we might have already accomplished it.

Wait a second, where did you get those fish tacos?
https://www.taquerialoshermanos.com/

There's one in John's Creek. My typical order is 2 a la carte fish tacos and a side order of refried black beans.
Edit: I actually really like the vegetable taco too.

Got it. I need to try that if I'm over there. I've been to Cheeky and they are not bad.

I don't think you'll regret it. You may make up excuses to be in that neighborhood in the future. :winking-tongue

Done, I will report back. I'll show up in my Taco and see if they give any discounts.

My two favorite pictures of this thread.

I'm glad when people get to spend time with their grandparents. I got very little time with mine and only on my father's side.

I have 64K on my 2018 Tacoma and a couple of weeks ago, I noticed the transmission was slipping. I took it to the dealer that does 100% all of my maintenance and recalls, and I was told that it has coolant leaking into the transmission. The fix, a new radiator, transmission, and rear seal. 4k miles over the powertrain warranty. Toyota USA has graciously offered me 35% of the cost to fix it. It is a $6,500 fix. >:[

I work for a home builder that builds on your lot homes around the eastern United States. This company has repaired fixes years and years out of warranty when it was our fault and not normal wear and tear. Makes me glad to work for a company like I do. I am furious.

I got to thinking Jeff . I would contact Toyota and talk to a rep . This may possibly help find a remedy. I think the dealer just wants a piece of the pie . If Toyota would step in he would still be compensated . I’m not good trusting dealerships .

Jeff, I am.so sorry to hear this. That's a crap ton of money to fix it.
That being said, I would agree with Dan, in talking to a Toyota rep. At least try one more time.
