Glad you found your CRK! That would be painful to lose for sure.

I forgot to take a pic! Condition is excellent, I put it on a dehumidifier fan for some time and put a fresh drop of Kpl. Will learn my lesson and only take my orange Taggedout next time.

Can't deny that. Such a great blade design for use, but also a unique look.

Finally got one! Might have to try and get an FDE one in Magnacut now that I see the Pacific is being made in it now.

Killer. I would love one of these bad boys. I always thought S30V was kind of an odd choice for this style of knife, but 4V and Magnacut both make a lot of sense. One day!

Tim Reeve deserves more respect; I really like the way he is moving the company.
So it goes.
Re: Chris Reeve Knives
Yeah, I’m really happy about the change to 4V, and that they are making them without serrations. I love how 4V has performed in my Province and can’t wait to put this one to work when I get outdoors next.
Also, Magnacut is so close to 4V in performance I’m really surprised they are going to run both. Now 3V and Magnacut make more sense to me.
In all, the Pacific really is a lot of bang for your buck within the CRK lineup. Fit, finish and ergos are top notch and make this $375 knife shine.

Re: Chris Reeve Knives
Nice! That Pacific gives me some Busse vibes.
Very interesting to see their FB models in 4V and Magnacut, and at a decent hardness for the specific application too...
The Backpacker and Inyoni are not inexpensive, but quite tempting in Magnacut, I must say.
I've never paid much attention to CRK fixed blades, but this line caught my attention, and made me look at their range.Dazen wrote: ...the Pacific really is a lot of bang for your buck within the CRK lineup.

While I’ve never seen the Backpacker or Inyoni for sale in the wild, they do have the shortest direct order wait time (1.5-2 yrs) of all the CRKs. Might be worth it now if those models interest you. It took me longer than that to find a Pacific.
