I guess giving my brother my Para 3 lightweight in SPY27 Sunday was meant to be! He is home from the Navy and his eyes lit up when I pulled it out. Even more when I said “it’s yours”. I HADTA order this to ease the pain a bit!

Got mine today, and I've got to say, I think I'm in love. Centering is perfect, the action seems smoother and over all feel is more solid than my P3 LWs. The translucent red scales look great, and the detent is perfect, the blade really rockets out.

The only thing I don't love is how crazy high this thing sits in the pocket... easy to fix though, I'll have a Lynch deep carry clip on the way ASAP.

Also agree that DLT is top notch. Customer service is outstanding and their new shipping tracking info is also pretty advanced compared to others.

I also noticed there wasn’t any description sheet in the box of the new one. Just the knife and a new sticker with the same para 3 fold out.

Mine came with the exclusive run info sheet and the normal factory pamphlet.



Where is the box born on code located? My box lable doesn't have any numbers that look like an obvious date code.

Curious why they are different colors of red. Did Spyderco use a different supplier for the latest run of knives? I would think a single supplier would be more consistent on their coloring.

Find the two letters on the outside of the box. First letter represents the month, second letter represents the year.

Not sure why there wasn’t an exclusive sheet other maybe it was fluke or accidentally packaged without. From what I can see some came with DU date and some EU. But maybe they ran out and mine is one of the last made. Or it was packaged on a Friday lol. It had the new black spyderco sticker tho. And I got the green DLT sticker with it. So idk.
