Throwback Thursday for Spyderco's
So I bought this Lil Temp around 2005. I carried it for a couple of years. I was on the Spyderco Forum back then and posted about this knife many times.
Anyway, I gave it to my brother. He used it for a couple of years. It was presumed lost. It was found in a drawer when he moved and returned to me.
I am going to carry it tomorrow for Throwback Thursday!
Anyone else have an old model they want to share and carry on Thursday, then Please do!
Pictured with my current EDC.

Just acquired this past Saturday. 1st Generation Endura in G-2 steel! Nearly as old as me!! Will pair nicely with a smaller PE knife of choice.

Great story and a good thread idea. I'll join in tomorrow with my choice.

Re: Throwback Thursday for Spyderco's
Yes the old Lil Temp was a beauty to behold. Plus the machined G10 in green. So much win in these older blades!
Re: Throwback Thursday for Spyderco's
Got this cool 2nd gen C02 last weekend at a garage sale! I want to send it to Spyderco to have the serrations re-cut but feeling a little leery about sending it over the boarder.
Re: Throwback Thursday for Spyderco's
My 1st gen Endura, Aus 8. Purchased probably very early 90's.
3 x Endura 1 SE, 1 x Endura ? CE and a Black Pacific Salt. Want Aqua Salt, Fish Hunter and a Pacific Salt Yellow.
Re: Throwback Thursday for Spyderco's
So do I.
I use the molded clip against my palm.
I like the longer blade of the old endura's.
I purchased a Gen 3 Combo (because it was $25) and I don't like the shape of the handle at all.
Or the metal clip!

Re: Throwback Thursday for Spyderco's
I’m toting this modded older Native today...
It’s old, and feels like an even older model.

I choose "Joyce choice" the Massad Ayoob :)

Re: Throwback Thursday for Spyderco's
Almost every day is "Throwback Thursday" for me. I've been carrying my ATS-55, Stainless handled RESCUE as a companion blade to my main EDC for over a year now. And I'm doubt that there are any new serrated Spyders that can out-cut that bad boy  .Archimedes wrote: ↑Wed Jan 30, 2019 5:23 pmSo I bought this Lil Temp around 2005. I've gone on record several times singing the praises of the older Spyders. And "Larry Mott's" picture of the SE Ayoob model truly brings joy to my heart because the C-60 AYOOB has been one of my Top 3 favorites for many years now. Great thread!
Re: Throwback Thursday for Spyderco's
Decided to pair it up with my favorite PM2 for the day! Currently - 4 degrees outside today...no outside photos from this guy haha

Re: Throwback Thursday for Spyderco's
Not as old as many posted, but this one was made in April 2007. I carry it regularly.

One from waaaay back, and one from not so way back. Two of my favorite Spyderco knife families:

Re: Throwback Thursday for Spyderco's
What's interesting is the higher percentage of Serrated edges than you normally see in a list of people's knives.
Interesting and some real beauties - I've just added one to my "to buy list" and highlighted that I need
to get on and get one that was already on the list (Massad Ayoob).

Not carrying any of these but there's a few nice throwbacks in here:
