Just a head's up for Tormek users, the new Tormek MB-102 Multi Base is now available. This is Tormek's version of various user created front verticle bases that allow easy grinding with the wheels running away from the edge and also accurate honing to precise edge angles.

Blade HQ currently selling the Benchmade brown auto immunity for $200 (normally 300). Also comes with a free flytanium mini pry bar and an inexpensive Chinese Kershaw (another pry bar?).
The composite wheel doesn't have a lot of information on the Tormek site, so some people just found out for themselves:

Thanks for sharing. I'm toying with the idea to get a Tormek T8, and was curious about this composite rubber wheel with embedded abrasive that is bundled with the 50 year anniversary model.

MidwayUSA has a sale code available for Cold Steel & SOG, which seems to work with already-discounted models.. take an extra 25% off an already ridiculously low $49.99 on the 4Max Scout using code KNIVES121123.. pretty sweet deal.

Code KNIVES121123 expired, but the 4Max Scout was still ~$50 last I looked.

thanks for the heads up. I had my cart set late last night and decided to finish the order in the morning. asked them on chat if they'd still honor the promotion and they said yes.
3V OD Green SRK and anothet SR1 lite on the way. Hard to beat a 6" 3V fixed blade for under a bill.
The 4 max scout is a beast. That's about what I paid for my OD green version. The first time I held one was like handling a C95 Manix for the first time. Incredibly ergonomic and redefined how beefy a folding knife could be for me.
Honestly the SR1 lite and 4 Max Scout are some of the most impressive lockback style locks I've used period. My SR1 I'm carrying today is so smooth and solid feeling for a $30 knife, it's unreal.
I love my C95's but knowing how tough they are to replace I'm a little reluctant to go balls to the wall with them. The SR1 being a $30 in production knife means I don't think twice about pushing it...

DLT has the Kershaw federalist double detent slip joint for $70. Looks like a deal for a US made knife in CPM154 with micarta handle. Regularly goes for around $115 (MSRP of $195).
For a Kershaw, that's a pretty sweet little slip joint right there.

Super good sale at Eknives in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Chaves knives!
Gotta say, the Chaves 229 Rendencion Lee Williams Kickstop is as every bit as good or maybe a touch smoother even than a Hinderer! I've had plenty of Tri-Way Hinderers to know
At any rate, the 229 Kickstop is on sale for $280!! They're regularly $410
I actually bought another Chaves from them today, this time I got the 229 Liberation Tanto for $265!
They're regularly $375
Here's a video on the Liberation 229 Tanto - it's not a flipper- and the actions on these are phenomenal

I missed this one and just now saw this but luckily I caught the one at Blade HQ for $287. Youβre not kidding though on how smooth this thing is. And the fit and finish is really incredible.

It's just really wonderful to get one at that price.
That's a real deal for sure. And enjoy the heck out of it. And be warned, when you sharpen her and get into that steel a little, she comes on like a freight train
Thanks for the tip, vivi! Incredibly, the 3V compact SRK is just $75 with the discount. Couldn't pass it up.
Nice! Many companies charge that much or more for a chinese D2 fixed blade. I've got nothing but good things to say about my 3V full sized SRK.
I grabbed a Frenzy and another XL Voyager in a different blade shape. And a black bear machete for a more compact option than my 18" machetes. also got an adapter to use my sawyer mini filters in line on hydration packs, which im excited to try out.
