Pretty new here - and wanted to ask first.

Is it acceptable to post a 'Want to Buy a particular Model' thread on the main discussion forum?

I believe the rules are that knives aren't advertised, bought or sold on the forum.

Does this include trades? Are trades considered part of the no buying and selling issue?

Yes, it includes trades. If you arrange a trade via the forum, send your knife and don't get the one you were trading for, you're going to blame the forum where it happened. Human nature, and strife that Sal doesn't need in his living room.

There was a posted set of rules but they disappeared when the forum was updated last spring. Hopefully TazKristi will see this and get them reposted soon.
