My old account JR in CT has been locked. I have followed the prompts to enter the trademarked text and I sent an email to the admins. No email response yet and entering the text does not allow me to log in. Password reset works as far as getting the password reset, but new password does not unlock account.
It is not much of a loss as I mostly lurk, but it does mean I lose the start date of my account.

I had the same problem and lost my account also from 10 years ago.
