A while ago I had read that a mule in maxamet was on the horizon. Has there been anymore info put out about its release? Timeframe perhaps?

No one but Spyderco knows for sure, but the December Spyderbyte may offer some clues. They had the new steels listed in this order:

CTS-B70P
CPM-20CV
Damasteel RWL-34
Maxamet

B70P did come out first (and makes a very nice knife as far as I can tell,) so maybe 20CV will be next and so on...

20cv and Maxamet are the ones I am waiting for :p

I'm waiting for either another Mule or the forum knife to come out so I can combine for free shipping with the B70P Mule.

yeah the new mule forum knife combo is something i enjoy as well.

At some point there will be a 4V mule if I remember correctly. It's a steel I like and feel those that enjoy the knives from 3V , Cruwear on up to CPM M4 will have a good chance of liking as well. Every steel on that list looks good to me.

There is always something to look forward to around here no matter how many knives a person already has. :)

I am interested in the RWL-34 and CPM 4V ones. :)

I thought that it was stated previously that an LC200 mule would be making an appearance also. Does anyone else remember this?

I had four custom Maxamet Mule's made with two different heat treatments. It is an interesting material. I am curious of the feedback when it comes out.
