Sprig and Positron. I really don't have much need for the Sprig, but the darn thing felt like it evolved concurrently with the human hand. "Extension of your body" is overused. The Sprig actually justifies that phrase.

Positron was a lightning quick little flipper. The CF handles were nicely (if subtly) contoured, and I really can't envision a time where I wouldn't want to carry it. Really looking forward to seeing what the MSRP is on this one. It seems efforts were made to keep this one affordable.

Also hoping to see the burnt orange FRN delica make an appearance!

Yes! Manix 2 Lightweight DLC Black! Bradley Folder 2! Endura/Delica Laminated HAP40 Sprints!!!!!

I was a little disappointed that the Native 5 Lightweight is partially serrated with the black blade. I just assumed it was fully serrated and all black. No biggie, though.

Positron and HAP40 Sprint Run Endura are my favorites.

I'm also interested in the Mamba, since I don't have any upswept scimitar-like blades in my collection. However, the thought of a future Chinook 4 distracts me a bit.

Two very different knives. The mamba felt like a Manix XL with a more palm filling, contoured handle, which was really awesome. It would carry very big, though, and you'd have to be in very friendly company to whip that one out. The Chinook was much more standard in slab G10 construction, so "pocketability" would definitely be better, and I think it looked less intimidating. I didn't compare blade shape side-by-side, but from memory I would say it was more bowie, less scimitar. Also: power lock.

Long story short, I think you could justify making room for both in your collection (although the Mamba will be spendy, count on that).

I'm most excited about the GB2, Positron, Mamba and HAP40 Delica. I noticed that the Positron and Mamba have solid carbon fiber scales. Also noticed that the HAP40 is clad in 410 rather than 420.

You just had to go there! I imagine from what you describe the Chinook 4's blade resembles the Bowie-ish shape of the Chinook 1 more than the 3?

I REALLY hoped the Lil Temp 2 would be in there, but some of the other knives make up for it. :)

My favorites:
Positron
Mamba
GB2
Orange Delica/Endura

Not much for me. I would have liked to see the DLC Manix 2 LW in a different steel. There really isn't much else that has my interest just from pics...though I may be more interested after seeing some in person.

Myrtle. And that's it. Kinda disappointed in the lack of steel choices. Eh, I guess that what happens when you get spoiled with cruwear, 3v, 204p, 20cp, etc....

GB2, and maybe the HAP40 sprint (I actually don't have a Delica). With PM2 exclusives and a visit to Golden both on the horizon, I've got to rein it in.

EDITED TO ADD: I see over on Cliff Stamp's own forum that he takes a dim view of Spyderco offering HAP40 without proper justification. Apparently, Spyderco formerly gave data showing why the steel it offered was good for knives. He thinks that Spyderco is now starting to let market hype (plus its own limited testing capabilities) determine what steels it should offer customers. The implication is not friendly. Perhaps Cliff will chime in here, so we can all understand what his reservations are about HAP40.
