Re: Spyderco shirts
My wife has a screen printer, for t-shirts she bought to help out with our several community volunteer efforts. I might make one up. For me only, not for sale. The reason I haven't yet, is because I didn't think of it until just now. I guess maybe I'm not as knife knutty as I thought I was. Actually, now that I think about it, there might be trouble finding an image large enough that is not all fuzzy and pixelated

Re: Spyderco shirts
Spyderco provides the illustrator/vector files to their logo artwork via their website under the "Pressroom/News" tab. Although, I'm not sure they specifically provide it for personal use, it is available.

KISS theory FTW.
Why not just be patient and wait and see what TazKristi and crew reply before we jump the gun on diy projects... not to shoot down a solid diy effort, though. :)

Re: Spyderco shirts
I got no problem waiting around. I wasn't really trying to jump the gun. The printer is just sitting around right now, probably begging to be used. And it would be a pretty good project for an afternoon. :D
I was thinking, if I did decide to do it, I'd put my Spydernation number on the the sleeve :D

Re: Spyderco shirts
I like the first one more than either of these. Just my 2¢losinground wrote:I did 2 more shirt designs. I cleaned them up a little.
edit: Actually the second one here might be the same as the initial one you posted but I like the brighter red better in that first post.

Re: Spyderco shirts
Nice work, Charlie. I like them both and would likely buy several if either were offered. I think it would be cool to see one with just the "bug" in the center of the chest? Perhaps put "Spyderco" and "Reliable High Performance" across the back/shoulder blades?

Re: Spyderco shirts
I couldn't find the same shirt for the back so this has to do for now. I thought showing the designs on a person would help.

Re: Spyderco shirts
Some tasteful Spyderco tee shirts would be great. To perk interest, they could offer a sprint run in exotic fibers, like silk or linen.

Re: Spyderco shirts
I still much prefer the initial design with the lettering on the front. Maybe a silver dollar sized spyder on back just below the collar. Lol, you getting tired of designing everyones whims and fancies yet losinground? :-D
Re: Spyderco shirts
I don't like the designs with the Spyder centered in the chest fwiw, everyone's opinions will be different of course. If just the Spyder is on the front I'd prefer it smaller and over the left chest.

Re: Spyderco shirts
I like the designs so far. How bout a small spyder over the left breast, and the Spyderco words on the back?

Re: Spyderco shirts
I came up with some designs a couple years back. This first one was while I was binge viewing Breaking Bad. I don't know that I'd necessarily do the front logo this way anymore, however. And the back graphic is a bit large relative to the shirt size. I think I made it bigger so that it was legible on the internet.

back:
At this time, I was also in a big Banksy mood, so I made a graffiti-inspired design as well

I'm sure I could come up with some better designs if I put my mind to it.
