I'm glad I have the original. If not, I'd pick this one up. Might still depending on pricing and if the entire knife is black. It's very comfortable in the rearward grip. I don't use the lanyard but have no trouble drawing from pocket. It locks up very solidly with strong pressure from the lockbar and a strong detent. It's not especially smooth for some reason but is easily flicked open with index or middle finger.

The PPT is so beautiful . I love the FFG S30v blade and would buy the PPT just for its wonderful corrugated scales.

Looks like the collectors club knives shipped out. Should be seeing these very soon. Hopefully there will still be some around in a few weeks so I can round up some money. Dang vet bills and a hospital visit got all my money I saved up last month.

hmm, this is one knife that never really spoke to me. But I'm liking the dlc, and the blade shape looks to be excellent. Like something in between a yojimbo and a paramilitary. I'm definitely interested now!

Wait is up; just ordered one from TheSpydercoStore.com (in-stock!). I love this blade shape, sort of like a big brother for my LeafStorm (live near Chicago, 2.5" max. blade size laws). Sounds like most other dealers will have them by Monday. Go get 'em! :D

Yep, just bought one at the spyderco store too. Cheaper than Howes and Knifecenter, too, by about 10 bucks.

Have the original so I won't need this one but it's a great blade! It is rather heavy but just like the Gayle Bradley I originally couldn't imagine using one much because of the weight and both of them have been knives that I still carried and used more than most other edc blades. (except for PM/PM2)

If I could get a lightweight custom from Sacha Thiel in M4 that would be a dreamblade! :D
(the steel in the Bradley is an important reason that's my most carried blade)

Wow, that's ludicrous. Firmly $100 more than the others. How does that company stay in business?
