Re: New byrds
I wonder if there is any chance of a flipper being added to this value line. I think I would have to by a "Byrd-Flipper" on sheer principle!! :p

Here I am, flipping the byrd. :)

Exactly. Can you imagine the mileage we would get out of that model?? The thread titles alone would be worth it!! :DDonut wrote:Here I am, flipping the byrd. :)

Re: New byrds
Sounds great Sal. I think many folks would be happy with the ability to flip a Byrd from time to time.

Re: New byrds
A flipper would be interesting indeed, especially at a Byrd price.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

I see what you did there. :cool:Surfingringo wrote:Sounds great Sal. I think many folks would be happy with the ability to flip a Byrd from time to time.
And honestly I would have to get one just based on that phrase alone. Flipping the Byrd.
Bacon. Sometimes beer, but mostly bacon. I like Spydercos.

Re: New byrds
Being relatively new to the Spyderco offerings, I currently have a Cara Cara 2 w/ FRN... and I like the look of the other current models. The idea of updated/upgraded or new models to the line is nice!

Re: New byrds
I thought I couldn't dare mention a byrd flipper - a line you don't cross. But I also think it would be an interesting idea, to have a lightweight knife with a narrower width, but with the ergos of either (or both) of the FRN or G10 handles, and a nice FFG.
A much better alternative to the Kershaw Skyline?

Re: New byrds
The Cara Cara 2 is already a relatively new knife, and the Ti versions just started coming out. Are you asking for a Cara Cara 3 already?Ben336 wrote:Is it possible at least in theory that a new Byrd Cara Cara may come into existence?

The more I think about it, the better a byrd flipper sounds.
