That is painfull. I must say this is the first year i will go to the meet. Never had the chance before. But i'm shure we will meet next year then.

Thanks for reminding US (pun intended :) ) of that. I feel a little better now about not being able to go. There are Spyderco advantages to those of us in the US, though Golden is a 23 hour drive from my house, and 60 gallons of gas. But it's really Mr Blonde who saves our bacon :D Thanx, Wouter!

Oh wow, I love roadtrips (especially US ones) 23 hours isn't all that much..
With the euro-dollar rates being really bad at the moment and extra shipping costs and import taxes which can run up to about 1/3 of the original cost (we even have to pay import taxes over the shipping fees) so general prices in the US are a big benefit as well. Last couple of times I came over I definitely enjoyed some shopping! Buying Spydies here at stores is even more expensive but saves a lot of hassle..
We get to see all the great stuff that will ruin us financially in the near future and we love it! :)
