I know, right?!? What an impossible tease that comment is! Winds are blowing pretty strongly for a soon-to-come PM2 (or Millie?) exclusive release like the much anticipated blue M390 PM2 second run, but it's what we don't know about what's up their sleeve is killing me !
BTW LC, I love how you colored the "Rubicon" fonts in your sig line! Clever.

I would love to see a Taichung-made C22 Michael Walker with s110v or CTS-204P. Lightning strike or marble CF while we're at it.
I would be happy to see any fine blade steel on a C22. Not sure what I would want for scales though. Maybe ALL Titanium :D
I agree, that C22 is also my all time favorite! I'm pushing for one for the forum knife but sure it will be something else
How about a Native 5, 204p, with foliage green G10 and titanium skeletonized liners?

I am hoping for a few Manix sprint runs. Lately I have found it is the perfect knife for me.
I feel a easy sprint to do would be a standard G10 Manix in S110v with some Dark blue G10. Throw in some Skelotonized liners for all you "light weight" junkies, and I think you would have a winner. Some of us just aren't crazy about FRN handles.
Another I hope to see is the ATR. I don't know what could be improved on or changed to make it different from the original, but I hope they build it. Maybe a Spyderco logo cut out instead of a hole in the center of the handle might be cool? I am hoping it is affordable as well!
I hate to revive a dead thread for my first post but.... there's nothing I want more than a CTS-XHP & Carbon Fiber sprint PM2. Is that even a possibility or am I dreaming?

Upgrading to a Ti ATR once I sell my stainless ATR :)
Doubtful, but always possible, they have had CTS-XHP and CF before though. You could always get both and make a franken-spydie. Or just get the CTS-XHP one with custom CF scales, or wait for the CF/M4 one from KW.

I'd purchase a burnt orange Spyderdo... But for the record, I'm NOT A UT FAN!
Can someone please tell me where I should look for sprint run knives? On the Spyderco web site? At a Spyderco dealer? Or is this above my security clearance? Thanks.
OK, thanks. By "here" I assume you mean on the Spyderco Forums > Spyderco General Discussion? But if a 2015 sprint run were to occur, where would it be sold? Online? Dealer? I don't really understand the purpose of a "sprint run" - is it a marketing test run, or is it simply intended to create a feeding frenzy among the Spyderco aficionados?
Technically, sprint runs are initiated by Spyderco, manufactured in strictly limited numbers, and sold through the dealer network.
Exclusives are initiated by a dealer or distributor, can be reordered, and are sold only through the dealer or distributor that initiated the knife.
The purpose can be anything from desire to experiment with the technical production and use issues of a new steel to testing the waters for marketing purposes to pure whim and fancy.
I had read that link, which says that sprint runs are "sold by Spyderco either through the existing Dealer and Distributor Network or Consumer Direct (The Mule Team Series)." I was unsure of the difference between "Dealer and Distributor Network" and "Consumer DIrect." I'll look for a local Spyderco dealer.
