SPYDERCO FOLDING TOOL KIT!

Where is it? I think I ( might? ) speak for a lot of people on the forum: TAKE MY MONEY.
How AWESOME would it be to have a micro tool kit with a spydie hole incorporated into it, with all the essentials for folders?
Kinda like the Benchmade without the crap sharpener ( maybe it has a double stuff compertment? ):

Come on Sal & Co! I know you could do something wicked cool. Maybe a sprint run? Sell em all out it one shot. ( ME FIRST )
I suggest if your interested to express it in this thread, see how much traction we can get.

:spyder:

Well, the good news is that I think something like what you are describing is already in the works. I happened to have seen and held a Swiss Army-esque Spyderco prototype at the BLADE Show this past June that features many of the options you are interested in (e.g. saw blade, can opener, awl, main blade, etc). I forget what this proto was called. Maybe Sal or one of the guys can elaborate on this?

Re - Reading what you wrote.

To clarify, Im looking for all the TOOLS ( Torx ) needed to tune up folders.

A Spyderco specific tune up tool would be stellar!

Using this little kit at the moment.
Has everything I need, but I'd trade it for a Spyderco kit any day of the week!
I have seen the Benchmade boxes in the past, overpriced bad quality steel if you ask me :o

I would love to see a Spyderco Custom tool kit geared to work on many past Spyderco/Byrd models. However more than that I would love to see Spyderco come out with a more conventional multi-tool. Not at all knocking the legendary Spyderench at all>> But when I carry my Spyderench I always have my Victorinox SWISS TOOl as a companion and the 2 of them work extremely well together on outdoor ventures especially.

A new multi-tool with even a firestarting ferro or magnesium rod and a can opener that actually works. Also some type of comprehensive, elaborate type of sharpening kit geared for travel and outdoor activities or even survival for that matter. I bet the market would be ready for it.

Sounds like a great idea aswell :)
They'd have to sell replacement ferro rods though... They wear out eventually.
But they sell replacement sharpmaker rods aswell, so it could work...

It's a kit I've had for quite some time now...
I don't recall it being expensive, but the steel quality is really good.
Never stripped a screw with it and none of the bits show any wear,
even though they've been used many times.

This was how it came originally.
I took the pliers out to keep with my vaping stuff,
use it with coil building on my RDA.
The screw bits are kept in the tin wich was from a bicycle tire repair kit (Wich is begging for one of the Spydie stickers).

The only info on the box:
OWIM GmbH & Co. KG
Stiftsbergstrasse 1
D-74172 Neckarsulm

It's a German company, so I assume I bought it at Lidl at some point in time.
Check these out ;)
On sale right now!
