Honesty.. I can't tell a difference between us and Japan models. Quality is outstanding.

As long as the country that makes the Spyderco's are friends of the US, I am fine with it. I spent a month in Japan and never met such friendly and helpful people.

I understand with wanting to buy U.S. First but I love my Japanese spydercos, I also like the Italian and Taiwan models. Even the Chinese Tenacious is a cool knife. So I don't choose a knife by country I choose it by design and materials used. I choose Spyderco for the commitment to its product.
