They sure are. I got a set of blue ones because I didn't want orange but I wanted them to be hard to lose in the woods. It works well for me. The smurf blue really stands out in natural environments. I use my Swick and my Mules hunting, fishing and camping and they have been great. I want to get another set of Swick scales but they only have blue, black and CF listed on their site and well, meh.. I can wait. I have two Swicks and four Mules and I play a lot of musical scales and sheaths.
