Anything over 25 Celcius is hotter than I like lol. 45 Celcius in Vegas is the hottest I've experienced and it was WAAAAAY too much for me.

And Schempp Bowie yesterday and today regarding my Spydie choice.

Agreed. However, Vegas is a dry heat so it seems more manageable than if it was 45 in Alberta. Plus, the casinos are air conditioned and they keep the drinks a coming as long as you're rolling the dice :)

That helps beat the heat.

It sure does. The worst thing is driving in Vegas when it's that hot. You literally have to start your car and crank the AC for 5-10 minutes before you can even get into the car, and even then, the steering wheel can be so hot you can't touch it. Still love Vegas though...I go there at least once a year.

I really liked the reflections happening in these two shots....in the second shot, the Techno's spine is reflected right underneath the Bowie's spine. Drives me a little crazy seeing the dog hair on the Techno though, I'm a little mad I didn't see that! :) Cheers, Paul :)

I think it's also kinda neat the way the Techno's hole reflection projects over the Bowie's Spydie bug. It looks like a second hole in the Bowie blade with a spider suspended in it (on a web if you use your imagination :)) and I'm pretty sure nobody would have seen the dog hair if you hadn't mentioned it :)

Got the new Pingo today and I'm glad to say it's really nice, some seriously nice craftsmanship in this model. I see why people had such a hard time explaining what colour the logo is as it changes constantly. If you're on the fence, I'd recommend you pick one up.
I never thought too much about this knife until I saw it in this light (double entendre intended ;)) This is really a beautiful shot, I think maybe the best of the BBQ shots.

And as for Canadian heat, it's been 37C +/- a half degree in the afternoons down here in HotDamnAlabam for several days now, with the stifling humidity causing a heat index of 40.5, but the mosquitoes seem to love it :(

Edit: forgot to mention that a lady baked cookies on the hood of her car yesterday in a small Alabama town  and people sometimes fry eggs on the sidewalk (we can't afford pots & pans down here, lol).
