new guy from sweden :)

Post by swedishgrunt »

hello all.
been a lurker for a long time now and decided its about time i join the ranks.

so who am i?
31 year old guy from sweden (yes i know dave :) . got a wife and 2 kids + 2 cats.
my two passions in life are knives and fishing.
if im not fishing im mostly in my shop making knives.

was going to attend the amsterdam meet this year but my son got sick so i had to stay at home.
would have been awesome to meet sal and crew.

been collecting spyderco knives now for around 2 years.
have had everything from benchmade, strider, ZT, crk, etc etc but spyderco is my most beloved brand.

i have managed to get myself a modest collection going.
and it will only grow over time.

guess most folks wont bother to read all this rambling so i guess i just post some bad pics of my little spydie collection instead.
sorry if they are bad (iphone cam) with terrible lighting.

this is most of them, except for maybe 4 or 5 users that are scattered all over the place.

Welcome. You have a nice collection going there. I noticed the Red Persian,
Navaja among the rest. How do you like the Szabo folder. Is it legal for you
to carry with the longer blade.

Hope that your son is doing better. Don't be a stranger. Take care.

yes i like my anniversary delica very much. it took me quite some time to track one down and once i did i had to pay a rather high price for it.
right now im chasing the WTC d'allara and CF s90v pm2. both has proven to be a challange to get.
and since i got ripped off on the CF s90v pm2 i bought im kinda bummed about it. he never sent it to me and no refund either.

i actually have a question and hope someone can answer it for me. the worker evo set. there were 1000 sets planned but i know that many wasnt made.
how many sets did get made?

Welcome swedishgrunt! I've been watching you add to your Spyderco collection as you've posted over on the ESEE forum :) you've got some very nice ones! I was happy to pick up a Chinook I from a fellow forumite there. It's used, but that is OK because I plan to use it more.

I'd love to have a CF s90v pm2 too. I'm very happy with my CF M390 military models. Carrying one in my pocket now (along with about 4 other spydies :) ).

There are many models which I *could* have purchased, but couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of money when they were available, and now I kick myself when I realize what I good deal I passed up!
Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)
