The only way I could get them in one photo since they are in different locations. Yes, all of them get carried and used in the course of the year.

Also, on hindsight I should have been working on a higher resolution canvas.

Quite new to this but already amassed quite the collection :smlling-eyes

Question to the more experienced folks - what do I need to try?

Looks like a well-rounded collection. Depending on your usage needs, maybe you could try a Manix or one of Spyderco's fixed blades.

Thanks! I am tempted by a Manix or Native in Rex 45. Too bad the current Manix sprint run blade is coated. I’m a fan of the patina so will wait for the next one.

I'd check out the Manix, Manix XL, Pacific Salt, Stretch XL and Military 2 and see if any of those larger models speak to you. Very nice collection so far!

Welcome to the Forum . You have a very nice collection going with some variety . Do you have access to any shops in your area ? If so handling some is a big plus , saves money and disappointment. If not seems like you do have some preferences. I also would suggest trying a Manix in either size . I would leave that choice up to you . MG2

:winking-tongue I’ve just ordered the Manix Stormtrooper . Regarding stores, I’m not sure what’s around. I’m in NY. Any other East Coasters among us? Where are the good stores?

If you're "upstate," J.T.s Knife Shop is in Port Jervis. If you're actually upstate, in the CNY area then Fradon is in Syracuse.

The only other places I've found with actual knife counters have maaaaaaybe a combo edge Delica and a few Byrds, but mostly just Gerbers and a few super low-end cold steels.

There are also a couple shops in the CNY area that focus on traditionals, but I'm not even remotely familiar with those.
Currently testing: M398, D3, SLD-Magic
Favorites: 10V, s90v
Wishlist: S290, Vancron, S125V, K890
17 Spydies, 14 steels
13 Maxace, 9 steels

Oh my god, Jaret. I've seen several of your posts showing part of your collection each time and I can only say that you have one of, if not the, craziest collection I've seen !

I'm going to reunite all of my Spydercos for a picture tomorrow (will miss one or 2 which are at my parent's, but eh). Dimi made me think it was time to do so :winking-tongue
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Robin. Finally made an IG : ramo_knives

Thank you very much for the recommendations. Will definitely keep those in mind when I find myself in the area!
