Where are the Yojimbo 2s?
Where are the Yojimbo 2s?
I've been looking to order a pair of Yojimbo 2s for the last few months and still can't find any.
Have these been discontinued?
Does anyone know where I could get one?

Join the club :) The first batch has been sold out for months and there are still a lot of pre-orders to filled as well. From what I gather , the Yojimbo 2 is just in really high demand and the supply can't keep up with demand (for now at least). Hopefully sometime soon there will be a healthy supply of Yojimbo 2's at most of the good knife sites. I have heard ETA's anywhere from March-May.
Welcome to the forum, sir. Plenty of info available on this:

I agree that it is a conspiracy. In fact rumor has it that Oliver North is working on a movieAzwaiian wrote:Yojimbo 2? I don't think such a knife exists! Just kidding, I search the various sites I purchase from and still no Yo2 in stock! No Yo2 in stock! It's a conspiracty I tell ya. :p

Production of the Yo2 is scheduled to resume again very soon. Based on the projected numbers and schedule, I am very confident that we will be able to satisfy existing backorders and hit a comfortable "stride" to ensure consistent availability.
Our US factory does an exceptional job of balancing production of our American-made products. With that said, it is a balancing act. Please be patient. Good things come to "Yo's" who wait...
Stay safe,

It must have fell out of someone's pocket that got an early pre-order
from CS. It almost seems like I have been waiting since 1963 for the
second batch to come out.
Good things to come for yo's that wait. lol, perhaps a vacation is a good idea.

I think I'm traumatized from when Spyderco discontinued the Lava, and got VERY concerned because they've been sold out of the Yojimbo 2 for so long.
Congratulations on designing such a popular blade! It's great when a Kalisto's design goes mainstream :)
