Woke up to my dog licking me in the face at 3:30am, yelled at him, and then I was awake. So, I figured why not check my email. What do you know...my smurf is in the mail and is going to make the trip across the country by Friday.

When did you order, just out of curiosity :) I'm impatient, but I didn't order very long ago either...MachSchnell wrote:Excited about this one, and just received tracking info.
The blue is sure to lessen the shock to no knife people. I currently have a black on black PM2 and that thing looks kinda sinister. :D

Yeah...I guess I will have to be content with my gray CTS-20CP PM2 for a while longer :)eneyman wrote:That is a very good looking blue g10. Hope I can score one of these in the future. Congrats chuck, noodle and other folks on your sweet new paras :)
Now I have to sit and twirl my thumbs until the orange ships
Just got my Smurf. The blade isn't centered (reasonably close, but not centered) and the pivot is awfully tight. I can't flick it open without using a lot of wrist. And to close it, I have to thrust downward at least twice, or reach around and close it with my forefinger (which I hate doing and will not make a habit). The grind from mid-blade to tip is pretty even, but behind that, it's not.
Got mine 20 minutes ago .... :D :spyder: :D
I was really on the fence about this one, mainly due to pricing, but these damned photos on here would not leave me alone.
I ALWAYS have to adjust my pivot on a new knife - not this one.
Flicks open and locks with gusto - blade is 100% centered - grind on both sides of blade is equal.
Switched the clip to tip up and I'm ready to go.

Mine was a bit tight at first, but it is starting to loosen up. Just needs a little break-in, give it some time-F1 wrote:... and the pivot is awfully tight.
