Re: Bad pics of great knives.
Wow, really fun thread to scroll through! More than a typical collection, that's for sure, almost more like an archive!
Maybe I'm confused though, or maybe others are, but is this thread for OldSarSwmrs collection, or open to anyone to just post random bad photos? Saw a few randoms intermixed and it was hard to tell what was going on.

Re: Bad pics of great knives.
Speed, I originally started the thread to introduce myself and show my collection. The title was probably confusing, I meant that my pictures would never do the beauty of these knives justice. Some folks post there pictures here too and that's okay. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Kind of what I thought.
So, what else do you have on the list of next blades to add?

Next up should be the Foliage green G10 Endura and the Ti Damascus Endura! :)

Ahhhh, I'm on a similar hunt through the foliage for an elusive G10 Delica!
Did you find an Endura?

Yep, its on its way. Picked it up off of BF, I was lucky enough to get the Delica awhile back as a gift from my nephew. :)

It's a grey and a black one. I thought about making a man necklace out of them! :DDonut wrote:Sheesh, you got the whole set of Roadies! Is that two black ones?

To be fair, I really haven't "used" it. I bought it for the design and to compare with the Dog Tag Folder. I do like the locking mechanism and would like to see that on the Dog Tag.
I buy a lot of my knives because I enjoy and appreciate the design aspects of the knife. That's why I love Spyderco so much! They have guts and take chances with design/collaboration, not everyone will love everything but knives like the Squarehead keep Spyderco from only serving vanilla. There is something for everyone! :)

Of course! Is there any better reason? :D
I'm currently saving for a couple of others first, but I'm heavily considering adding a Squarehead to the order when I pull that trigger. :spyder:
