What Spydie would you like to receive as a gift?

Post by Scottie3000 »

My anniversary is coming up soon and my wife wants to know what I want. Our budget is < $200 for each person. What would you pick from current or past models?

Thanks!
On order: Maxamet Native 5
Current pocket hog: S90V Para2
Next up: Something Blurple

Man, that's tough.

A knife I know I would love would be the Sage 1 (already own one). It'd be nice to have a backup so I can really use the spare one. Also, you could take it out to the anniversary dinner since it would match nice with your dress slacks.

Upcoming model would have to be the Para 2. I can't wait to get mine. I've held off picking up other Para's, which was really hard, just because I knew the Para 2 was coming out this year. It really looks like a great EDC knife.

I would consider one of the Kopa models. I see there's several different versions on eBay right now, from the CF to the Giraffe Bone.

Next I'd consider one of these three, J.D. Smith, Chokwe or the Zowada.

I believe I'd want something out of the ordinary for an anniversary gift.

Lots of great ones to choose from, assuming you're right handed. In older stuff, any one of the Kopas, a small Persian, Kris, or CF Kiwi if you can find one. In the current lineup, either Sage, the CF Stretch II, Perrin, Chokwe, Rock Lobster, Bradley, or a Micro Dyad.

Spyderco Perrin PPT. It's one of those things you really don't need but really wouldn't mind having.

Happy anniversary to you guys!
