Wasn't sure about buying it with the heavy price tag I've seen on it most of the times...

Nice find! You don't see many of those floating around anymore. I wish I had picked one up back when they were cheap!

Besides this one I've only seen one pop up in a long time and the guy was aksing 350 euro's :o

Not a spyderco but my very first custom knife in my collection . (Its from a young belgian maker with a spydercolicense)

It is a little of a Rubicon/Zulu combo.
When i first saw the design from the maker (Simen Stryckers) it was nothing more then a few ruff lines on piece of paper. (He never made it this is the first and only one on this earth)
But it was love at first sight.. I began talking to Simen about it. And he was generous enough to change his design to what i wanted to see.
6 months later this baby is born. :)

The specs are.

Blade : 3 inch made from Niolox 3.2mm thick with a zero grind.
Handle : 4, 1/4 inch
Lockside is solid Titanium 3.5mm thick
The other side is made from 4 mm thick cf with inlays from thunderstorm kevlar.
More pics will follow one of the days in my own collection topic.
