Re: Show your Mule
Welcome aboard to the Forum, elmeringalo. Beautiful job on that Mule. Did you do the handle yourself?

Hi sirs, I,m glad you like my MT. Yes I do the handle and the sheath. Now I´m working in another one, possibly in red or white micarta, I´m not sure. When I finish, I show here

Re: Show your Mule
Hello All - New to posting on here but this page is one of my favorites in the Spyderco forum. I've got a few mules with hand made handles and sheaths I'd love to share on here, just dont know how to post pictures yet. Can anyone give me a hand or point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I use photobucket to download pics, if you have a a smart phone just down load the app to your phone then take your pictures using the app and they will be automatically loaded to your PB account, then go to your PB account and click on the picture you want to use.NiallRiv wrote:Hello All - New to posting on here but this page is one of my favorites in the Spyderco forum. Re: Show your Mule
Sorry guys, wrong thread :)
Re: Show your Mule
Elmeringalo, Your leather work is outstanding! It inspires me to make some sheaths too. I like the red micarta.
New to me
Here's the superblue mule I found. It was used & dull, sporting a partial patina & in need of some tlc when it arrived. Here's a couple of pictures, before & after shots. Still working on the finish, using danish oil so the pores will be filled up sooner or later, purple heart with ebony spacers & copper pins. It's 11/16" at the fattest part & tapers a bit at the ends to a shy 5/8", very comfortable grip. Turning out OK this time. Gotta love that superblue.
Re: Show your Mule
Looking good!
That is some lovely TLC.
Somehow the wood always seems to warm the knife....

Re: Show your Mule
Hi moe1a, I'm glad you like it. Now I'm finishing another Mule in orange G10 and black micarta bolsters, when ready I will show here. It's an MT16 and the sheath, probably embossed in twoo colors and similar configuration as this one
