Almost certain that I'll buy some more spydies someday..... that Manix is such a dreamknife and the atr is second on the list i think

Welcome apollo,
I've had my Endura, been using it almost everyday and it's in perfect shape.
Gets sharpened on the whites almost everyday and it still dusts hair off my arm. What more can you ask. Mine is ATS-55 and I got no complains.
Take care

Welcome to the Forum apollo :)
I have had my Endura for just over a year and it has been with me everyday since I got it. No problems and it has seen some abusive things. I had to use it to pry the pin out of the shock absorber thing on my front door about 2 weeks ago. Still rock solid with no blade play. Normally I would have gotten a screwdriver but I was overly lazy and curious about the strength of the FRN Endura. Take Care and stick around this is THE place to be!!!

Welcome Apollo you are among friends. I totally agree with you on the toughness and edge holding ability of VG-10. It is one of my top 3 blade steels used by the Great :spyder: factory. Try to also get a blade with S30V and do not pass up a blade with ATS-55. I only have one Endura and I use it for pretty rough stuff. It was very used and I got it for a song. It also has VG-10 and no complaints here. Very abuse resistant. :D :spyder: :)

Endura

Post by UK KEN »

Welcome to the forum!

I gave a farmer friend of mine an Endura two years ago. He has used it every day for cutting polythene from straw "rolls", twine from his hay bails and even food preparation. He tells me that he has only ever felt it necessary to sharpen it two or three times.

It is a VG-10. He has used all sorts of knives in the past but is now committed to :spyder: !

Regards Ken

Welcome to the Spyderco Forum. Enjoy your stay here and your new knives.
The Endura is very good but the Paramillie is even better. It is a top class knife and I think you'll love it. At least most of us do
