Not out yet, but at least Sal / Spyderco works on them or there even are already prototypes:

- Native Chief LW/FRN (SE if possible...)
- Caly 3.5 LW/FRN
- Leaf Jumper SE

And, not a new model at all to me, but not existent int this exact form yet:

- Endura 4 ffg / SE / "regular" blade shape / VG10 (or some other steel a bit "softer" than K390)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

All 3 of these are on my want list. I am however tempering my expectations in that they may not come to production in 2022. But man, if just 1 did. I would be perfectly happy if either was all I purchased for the year.

We should collect funds to get you a production model of this. Heck you need to be the prototype tester for this model.

I’m quite satisfied with my G10 Chief, but I’m curious about how this LW will turn out.
If it follows in its little brother’s footsteps and loose some weight as well as gaining the MagnaCut/Salt treatment, there will be a CS exclusive for sale rather immediately :)

Well, there is hope for the Leaf Jumper... viewtopic.php?f=2&t=60127&start=31400#p1582532 :smirk

/ Man, I´d really like to test an VG10 / ffg / regular blade shape Endura... but I actually would not have to "test" it. If it would be like the Endela SE - same serration pattern, just in the longer Endura blade - it is 110% certain I´d love that knife!

I’ve been a small knife fan for years - but I decided to give the Para 3 another chance. Ordered one in Satin S45VN.

My S30V DF2 hasn’t lived up to it’s ZDP-189 predecessor. :( Maybe I’ll give k390 a shot.

I would love to see a “Stretch 3” a la Para 3 but FRN/backlock.

I have not had any ZDP-189, but if you like edge retention I would definitely encourage you to give K390 a try.

I just ordered the Dfly K390 Wharnie. The Endela Wharnie is probably next up. Probably will try an Endura Wharnie as well. Other than those, the hopefully coming in 2022 Straight Spine Stretch XL would obviously be new to me.

Everything else on my radar is a variation of stuff I own or have owned in the past. The wharnies mentioned above are technically variations as well, but I've never owned wharnies in those models so I'm counting them!

A few more Native Chiefs. One in S30V and all of the additional Native Chiefs that Spyderco releases in 2022.

Maybe a Native Chief XL! That would be nice in 2022!

No, I need jimping and the boye dent, which were inexplicably left out from the Rock Jumper. The Endela is my favorite model, so the Endela Wharnie it is!

It's funny, I would like a Boye Dent on the RJ, seems a little sharp on the edge even after trying to smooth them out with a Work Sharp Field Sharpener plate. However, on the Native 5 it feels great. No clue.

I definitely miss the jimping. I do not mind no jimping on a straighter (no hump) blade. I don't think the Native 5 needs it. I don't miss it on the Kapara or Watu, but when there is a hump, there is something about the way my thumb pushes up against it where I like when it is there.

An the Endela, that thing is my pocket more days than not. It just feels great in hand. Like it disappears.

Byrd harrier wharncliffes if they arrive (I’ve stashed away some actual cash a while ago for this)

Hawkbill ladybug will probably happen!

Ayoob depending on price/timing/availability

I wouldn’t mind scoring a BD1 polestar or alcyone if found for a steal.

A sage 5 lw would likely be my daily driver, but right know I have no need to jump as a basic para 3 lw and efficient both fill the same role just fine.

Maybe an MC native or manix could be interesting but i currently have zero gaps that either of these need to fill. I’m also waiting to see what happens with the rock/leaf jumper series.

A DF Lc200n would be cool, but I’m much more likely to grab a ladyhawk!

Native 5 Salt in MagnaCut
Pac Salt 2 and/or Atlantic Salt
Large wharnie in endura or jumper
Swick 5?

I’ve got some standby favorites now, so beyond that short list I guess it would take a new design to really trip my fancy.

I am waiting for the Resilience s35vn to come out, that is my next buy. And, I have an itchy checkout finger for anything Magnacut.

Nothing "new to me" in my sights so far for 2022.

I already have these but I am eyeing more D4's, E4's, Chiefs, Kapara, and SPY27 production Mule (have a few Mules so I don't know if a production Mule should be considered new to me or not).

My first knife of 2022 is a D4 and I have also sold a D4 (duplicate) in 2022.

I've decided to pass on a BRK MagnaCut pre-order I've been considering since I am now 7 months waiting on another BRK pre-order I did 2021.

I'm certain some exciting things are on the horizon; I suspect something will be revealed soon with Shot Show a few days out.
So many knives - so little funds!!!

My actual wishlist is way larger, but these are the highest priority ones:
  • Centofante 3 (arriving tomorrow)
  • SpyDK (arriving next week)
  • Stretch 2 (K390) (pre-ordered for next manufacturing run)
  • Drunken
  • All Mule Teams
I'm hoping this list expands after SHOT Show (if they do any releases there) -- if so, I'm really hoping we see a new Chaparral release and a Dragonfly 2 in LC200N.
Current Collection
Chaparral LW, Dragonfly 2 (VG-10), McBee, Stretch 2 (K390), UKPK Salt (LC200N)
