Wait, What? I purchased a new Shaman about a month ago for $200 and it is perfect. Who knew?WilliamMunny wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2023 9:42 amI agree total junk second knife, but so you don't lose too much I will give you $200, just to help you out.
On the more helpful side maybe put some custom wood scales on it and keep it for yourself, be a beautiful knife. If you are looking to sell all three probably not the best place to be posting, pure reselling is not very popular on here, or anywhere for that matter.
You could also return it so someone else could be lucky enough to have the chance to buy it, get your money back at least. Good luck.

Hey Bolster, shoot me a PM of your crap knives. I am an expert on QC issues. I'll take a look at them and give you an expert opinion. If my opinion is bad, I also offer a rehoming service as well that may be of use to you.
Matt, your Kapara may need my rehoming service for problem knives.

So how much did this knife sell for after posting this thread? Anybody care to take bets? I'm betting north of three bills... /:)
Re: Shaman 15V, Bad QC
I would, normally, but I'm kinda busy right now, composing the 37th PM and 23rd email to ZrowsN1s, trying to purchase his crap Kapara from him:

Re: Shaman 15V, Bad QC
Whole thread should be deleted. Flipper and a post with no details. He doesn't want help or advice, he wants to trash Spyderco while using them to make money.
Re: Shaman 15V, Bad QC
And here I haven't been able to get one. Go figure.
Re: Shaman 15V, Bad QC
Lots of unnecessary anger towards the OP.
Owning three of these knives does not automatically make anyone a flipper. Could very well be a collector or someone buying pre-need replacements. Maybe wants to keep one as a safe queen, one as a user, and re-sell the last one for a bit of a profit. (Because he can.)
Regardless of what his plans are for the knives, that shouldn't matter to anyone here but him. What should matter is the potential issue with quality control.
OP, you could always contact Spydercos warranty and repair department to try and resolve the issue with them.

The photo you posted definitely shows a blemish on the scale but its difficult to really see what it is. I would recommend taking some higher quality photos that show the blemish better.

Re: Shaman 15V, Bad QC
Disagree. We should be getting these into the hands of as many folks as possible, and it really sucks when people that want them (like the steel junkies here) can't get one because of people like the OP. HIGHLY doubt it's anything but flipping in this case. I'd love to proved wrong, but OP isn't coming back to face the music anytime soon. Because flipper.Mushroom wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 11:14 amLots of unnecessary anger towards the OP.

All you have to do is read his 6 posts to see he's clearly a flipper, and knows he's got caught. He's signed back in multiple times since his initial post.

Yep. And now he's afraid to post again since being called out. The thread should stay for that very reason.

Re: Shaman 15V, Bad QC
What’s the deal with these scales? They seem to be some kind of smooth G10? I’ve seen a few pics of these and they all look like the OPs… People also saying sometimes they look grey and sometimes brown. Have Spyderco tried something new here?

Re: Shaman 15V, Bad QC
They're smooth, tan G10. I've seen plenty of photos (look at the classifieds on BF) and this is the first I've seen look like this. Granted, it's a pretty poor photo, so hard to say what's going on. Probably taken with the camera on eBay mode...TomahawkT10 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 12:03 pmWhat’s the deal with these scales? They seem to be some kind of smooth G10? Final offer. $125 Canadian. Get out while you can!
Re: Shaman 15V, Bad QC
Even if they are a flipper, why should you guys care? It’s not like they're hoarding them or destroying them specifically so no one else can have them. The people who want them still get them, they just pay a little more money for it. Think of it as a convenience fee - Fight the crowds to get one like they did or pay a little extra to browse freely and buy from them when it’s easy.
They probably haven’t responded again because they see everyone unnecessarily trash talking them. What would be the point?
God forbid anyone try to help. Nope, attack him because he bought more knives than you babies wanted him to buy.
