Vrango ordered from kc. Ouch. Darn enablers. Just got my 1 i jack. How long can you go without eating?

It feels just a tiny bit like when a series kills off some beloved characters. :p

This is a sad day for sure, but at the same time, if the Soutfork drops below $200 I consider it bought..

Weird, the Draper folder was already on the 2016 discontinued list of knives that would be discontinued for 2017.

I am 100% OK with Spyderco making another Rassenti to go with my Nirvana... if I can convince the wife again. :D

Guys, the Domino/Dice/Southard and other older Spyderco flippers were all on borrowed time.

Eric told me at Blade that they were re-engineering the flippers; the Advocate was already being re-done, and I suspect they've changed the Mantra too. So these older models don't have the new engineering, and are getting a bit long in the tooth, and with that and perhaps dwindling sales they decided to discontinue them. The Southard is 5 years old, the Domino 4, and the Dice 3; that seems like a pretty good run for those.

Only 2 out there, don't think ill pull the trigger Ron the nirvana though. Personally I'm taking this one as a sign they couldn't fix the lock stick.

So far the Vrango at KC is the only one that I had to have.
If I had never owned a Nirvana I'd probably have gone for that too but it was disappointing. It's ground way too thick.

Shame about the Pingo. As I've said before and elsewhere, it's a really easy knife to overlook and dismiss (looks kind of strange), but it's excellent. Came ultra sharp.

Gonna pick up a Domino or two if I can, and maybe a Native.

Holy moly! Did not expect a few of those! Time to go shopping!

Out of this group there is only 1 I want I don't have yet. I'm getting off easy.

Native 5 fluted titanium is tempting! I've already spent my paper route money for this month. We'll have to see if it's still around next month.

No real surprises on the list year for me. Kind of sad to see the micarta Street Beat on the list. I passed on one this year to get one of the remaining new old stock Lum fixed tantos. Maybe I’ll luck into a deal, though I think they will sell out before I’m ready to bite. This year has been far too expensive already and it was to be an “off” year. :eek: :confused:

Will pick up another C196CFTIP Mamba. Only purchased one.........
