Difficult to answer as this time Spyderco "overwhelmed" me with so many new and great models. Especially the Balance, the Paramilitary and the translucent Manix are a must have, but also the Sage with bolt lock.

(Struggling and speaking in a strained, halting voice)

Can't.....resist.....Spyderco.....mind.....probe....much.....longer..........

(Whole demeanor changes, now speaking in robotic monotone voice)

I am at your command Spyderco. I will be purchasing the Sage 3, Caly 3.5 and the Lum with the visually appealing CF. I am considering the clear FRN Manix...

(Receives a body-convulsing electric shock)

I am at your commmand Spyderco. I will be purchasing a clear FRN Manix too.

:p

I am lusting for a Military in M4. Going to be a mother of a cutter. The steel demands a little bit of maintenance but that'll break my heart. Having to get it out monthly and stroke the blade with a rag damp with silicon. That's when I'm not using it regularly.

PPT, FTW here. I'm also pretty fired up about the hinted-at other Perrin designs that are trickling down the pike.

Unfortunately for my bank account most of them.

As the great admirer of Caly, I will be purchasing Caly 3.5.
Also Para2, and maybe PPT.

Another one I'm stoked about: Byrd Meadowlark FRN! I hope the price stays below $25. It is the first Byrd that I don't find absolutely ugly, actually I think it looks pretty darn good. Even the comet hole looks alright. I may even be more excited about this one than the Spydercos because I won't feel any guilt when I buy it (or 3 of them). I hope they use this FRN pattern on some more Byrds, and I hope that the revised Byrd knives are successful so that they'll develop and design some new models to market under the brand.

Late reply, but just recently viewed the PPT video. I am in love with that knife. Goes to the top of my list when it comes out.

Definitely the Para II and the Caly 3.5, updates of my two most EDC'd Spydercos. I hope the Caly stays in black G-10; I'm really anxious to see what G-10 is chosen for the final Para or sprint run variations. Black G-10 for the Para is fine (especially as opposed to foliage green), but I'm really hoping there's a chance for an orange G-10 version, which IMO would make it the ultimate outdoor knife.

Some of the other models are very enticing too--a fantastic new crop overall.

But, of all of them, which one are you MOST excited about?

For me, the Perin PPT is at the head of the obsession line.

What about you?
I would love to own this knife also, but most would call me crazy, I think this would be a great EDC blade.
