Tony, I shouldn't have watched that after drinking two cups of coffee :p :)
I think it's the perfect pool fountain for a firefighter.

That's sweet.

Now you have to start doing some knife reviews like the rest of us. :)

A 30-second-long video, and it just keeps showing the exact same thing? I was waiting for it to blow up, or something.

No, seriously; nice pool pump/fountain/thing. :D

well first find yourself a hydrant...mine weighs about 250lbs...then weld it to a steel plate..i cut a 2" hole in the middle of the plate and to that welded some pipe to the bottom. take your hose from the pump to the pool and connect it to a "Y" . i made mine with ball valves for both outputs (1 for the regular port into the pool and 1 for the hydrant) then you just turn whichever one you want on or both. hope this makes sense.

one of my sisters who has a MBA and makes close to a half a mill a year asked me how i hooked it up to the city's water supply  ..just goes to show you that book smarts and common sense are two very different things. :D

tony, I hope that thing is secure. I know one time I thought I could throw a hydrant into the back of my truck in high school. It made it but I think I had 13 hernias at one time.
